About the role

As Brand, Social Media and Content Specialist,  you will manage and optimise the delivery of Catawiki’s social media content strategy across all of our social channels, working to grow our brand awareness, audiences, and engagement, through relevant, timely and on brand content through organic and paid investments. Your focus will be on monitoring and advising the team using data and insights to ensure our channels are performing to expectation and adjusting and improving strategies as required. You will deliver exciting cross-functional marketing and social media projects that require  research and data insights, strategy & execution, channel and content optimisation, analysis and reporting. You will report to the Brand, Social Media and Content Lead and work closely with our Marketing department,  Category leads and Commercial teams.

What you’ll do

  • Execution of Catawiki’s Brand Social Strategy alongside the Social & Content Lead and external consultants.
  • Regularly monitor our channels and deliver monthly social reports to bring analytical insights and recommendations for content based on audience data and channel best practices.
  • Execute and innovate on our paid media strategies to ensure our campaigns are delivering against reach, impact and growth targets
  • Review and edit social content to ensure it is aligned with Catawiki’s Brand 
  • Manage the Paid social budget and milestones to ensure we are delivering against our strategy and KPIs. 
  • Deliver integrated Social Media campaigns leveraging multiple channels in alignment with other teams (such as Performance and Communications).
  • Lead content scheduling across all channels in line with the global marketing calendar
  • Supporting and collaborating with our Social Interns on daily tasks and deliverables.

What you’ll bring

  • 6+ years of experience as Social Media Manager or Performance/ Programmatic marketeer for digital company or agency
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Media or similar field
  • Excellent knowledge of social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc. as well as a broad knowledge of marketing channels or formats.
  • Experience with creating and executing successful paid campaigns for Owned Social Media channels, including advanced knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.
  • Experience using Social Media management tools such as Falcon, Brandwatch or SproutSocial or Agorapulse including experience with setting up social listening queries.
  • Proven executional and project management skills. You can manage a high level of complexity and proactively interact with different internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Previous experience in either the field of programmatic, data science or performance marketing is a plus.

This role will be hybrid and our office is located in our Amsterdam office, the Netherlands.

Our offices and new way of working

We’ve embraced an activity-based way of working, meaning our team can choose how they split their work week between home and the office, in line with our remote framework and guidelines. In locations where we have physical offices, most employees enjoy two days at the office to connect and collaborate with each other.

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
