Our Commercial Operations Department

We are a team of operations experts who build capabilities empowering Commercial teams to deliver upon business goals. Our vision: robust Commercial capabilities driving growth in a multi-billion euro business. Our mission: operational excellence across everything we do.

A real 'spider in the web', the Commercial Operations team is a key player between Commercial teams, Product, Finance, Legal, HR and ensures Catawiki is set up for success.

About the role

Our Commercial Project & Program Manager champions sales enablement programs. This role manages projects, regularly engages organization-wide stakeholders, and communicates effectively to build out programs that improve the commercial team's skills, ensure company-wide strategy alignment, and drive Catawiki’s sales efficiency.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with Sales, Marketing & various functions to assess and determine the required enablement support and the necessary tools to scale our Sales organisation - identifying the most effective assets & managing the roadmap for asset development.
  • Manage sales programs and projects execution. Create and manage plans and timelines for multiple, simultaneous projects in the Sales Enablement portfolio.
  • Track and report on sales enablement programs and program assets. Measure sales enablement activities to quantify impact and success of materials and program.
  • Establish processes for consistent communication with the Sales teams in order to collect input as well as to deliver updates and share knowledge.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing/Management to coordinate education requirements and the rollout of new sales products and launches.
  • Define and conduct user training for sales enablement activities.

As part of the role you will:

  • Create project plans and execute them into measurable deliverables
  • Ensure actions and key deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Develop detailed project plans and communicate project performance throughout the project lifecycle to all stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Maintain and update all project plan documentation, from initiation through execution to closeout.
  • Liaise with  cross-functional teams to deliver high quality deliverables on time and on budget
  • Establish a golden standard of project management

 

Who you are:

  • Outstanding project management skills. At least 3 years of core work experience driving end-to-end projects and with formal project management methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional organizational teams
  • Demonstrated experience creating factual and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to analyse, make decisions, prioritize, assess and mitigate risk.
  • Focus on quality deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and a natural affinity to a structured way of working

Knowledge and Skills

  • You have at least 4 years of work experience leading projects and with formal project management methodologies.
  • Degree (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience creating factual and concise verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to analyse, make decisions, prioritize, assess and mitigate risk.
  • Focus on quality deliverables throughout project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical/problem solving skills and a natural affinity to a structured way of working

This role will be based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands with a hybrid work arrangement.

Our offices and new way of working

We’ve embraced an activity-based way of working, meaning our team can choose how they split their work week between home and the office, in line with our remote framework and guidelines. In locations where we have physical offices, most employees enjoy two days at the office to connect and collaborate with each other.

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
