About the role

We are looking for an IT Engineer to support and manage our Workday environment and HR SaaS integrations.  We consider ourselves to be a cloud-native company working with SaaS and a cloud-first architecture, with a stack which includes Okta, Google Workspace & Cloud Platform, JAMF Pro, JIRA, and Slack.  Our challenges are related to the tight integration of Workday, Okta, and various other HR specific applications.  Long term, we’re looking for someone that can automate solutions to the current challenges making changes to these environments.  There is also an opportunity to build and scale our overall Identity and Access Management strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Development and maintenance of Workday integrations as well as the customisation of Workday
  • Build a change management process for Workday
  • Resolve technical challenges related to Identity and Access Management
  • Collaborating with the IT & Security teams, management, and department leaders to assist in planning the most important upcoming projects

What you’ll bring 

  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience in IT; Operations, automation.
  • Proficient with 1 or more development languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Go etc.
  • Experience of managing automation for SaaS tools including Workday and/or Okta.
  • Knowledgeable with configuration management tools (Ansible / Puppet / Chef).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and/or cybersecurity control frameworks (CIS Controls, NIST, PCI).
  • Ability to absorb and retain information quickly with an enthusiasm for learning.
  • Linux and macOS operational experience is a plus.

Our offices and new way of working

We’ve embraced an activity-based way of working, meaning our team can choose how they split their work week between home and the office, in line with our remote framework and guidelines. In locations where we have physical offices, most employees enjoy two days at the office to connect and collaborate with each other.

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
