The Luxury Sales Team

Working in a distributed team across Europe brings its own challenges, but the Luxury sales team take group spirit and team building seriously. Besides the quarterly sales meeting in Amsterdam, they meet, brainstorm and hold virtual social activities. 

Regularly catching up as a team and on an individual basis to tackle challenging leads or to align on the overall sales strategy. Besides the immediate team they will share and approach leads with our Experts and work on managing large accounts with our Customer Experience team.

What you will do:

A Key Account Manager contributes to the realisation of our commercial targets in our dynamic organisation . You will play a key role in developing the right set of existing sellers to maximise our revenue :

Growth management

  • Move in sync with Business Developers to take over new sellers onboarding
  • Identify existing sellers with a high growth potential and draw up a growth strategy 
  • Draw up commercial agreements between High potential sellers and Catawiki

Key Account Management 

  • Supervise Top Sellers health metrics
  • Grow and retain an extensive book of business through upselling, relationship building and targeted communication by monitoring and analysing KPIs
  • Draw up and maintain win-win commercial agreements between Top Sellers and Catawiki
  • Move in Sync with experts to bring the right kind of supply from our TopSeller base. 
  • Team up with  key internal stakeholders to provide our Top Sellers the best possible help and service to grow
  • Proactively suggest and follow up on opportunities for improvement to internal stakeholders

Where you’ll be

The role is based in The Netherlands with a hybrid working arrangement. You will be part of the Luxury department and will be working for our Dutch-speaking markets.

 Who are you:

  • Communication, excel at communicating in person, over the phone, via email, and across teams.
  • Company and seller expertise, nurture strategic relationships with top sellers
  • Strategic perspective
  • Skilled negotiation
  • Value-based selling
  • Autonomous and organised
  • A passion for the online industry or maybe have a collection yourself so that you are able to understand the language of our sellers;
  • Open to travel on a regular base in The Netherlands and Belgium to meet your sellers 
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, French nice to have
  • A Master/Bachelor’s degree with sales experience. Your degree is Commercial, Economics, or Sales related.
  • Capable of using google tools (sheet, slides) and data, we are a data-driven company.
  • Capable of using sales CRM Hubspot is a plus.

Our offices and new way of working

We’ve embraced an activity-based way of working, meaning our team can choose how they split their work week between home and the office, in line with our remote framework and guidelines. In locations where we have physical offices, most employees enjoy two days at the office to connect and collaborate with each other.

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
