Tech Recruiter

The Team

We are looking for a Tech Recruiter to support our efforts in finding and attracting amazing people who can take Catawiki to the next level. Our Talent Acquisition team consists of Sourcers, Recruiters, Recruitment Ops and Employer Branding. We work in a hybrid environment, coming together a couple of times per week in our Amsterdam office to align, learn and grow together (and of course… eat donuts!). 

What you’ll do 

• As our Tech Recruiter you will lead the recruitment process and help us hire for core Product & Tech functions, with an initial focus on our Developer, UX, Product and Data positions. You will search for candidates, conduct interviews and manage the recruitment process from end to end, proactively making improvements along the way. 
• You will find, target and approach the best profiles, making Catawiki stand-out from the crowd. Next to this, you’ll also be responsible for helping to further develop Catawiki’s employer brand, working creatively with the rest of the (awesome!) recruitment team on a mixture of short and long term projects aimed at increasing the quality of hire. 
• You will manage your own portfolio of vacancies, forming effective partnerships with hiring managers. As a Tech recruiter at Catawiki, you will become an important member of Catawiki’s wider People Team, contributing to initiatives that make Catawiki a destination of choice for the best and most relevant talent in the market. These initiatives will range from employer branding, to events, partnerships, process improvements and a whole lot more!
  

Who you are 

In addition to having experience of successfully hiring Engineers, Designers, Product Managers and Data Scientists in a fast paced working environment, it’s likely you’ll be excited about working for an international scale-up. Furthermore, you will:

• Know what differentiates junior, mid-level and senior level engineers and are able to effectively assess this.
• Be a champion sourcer; Outside of Linkedin, you know the best ways to search for, find and engage with technical talent.
• Be active in online (and real life!) communities and social networks. You know where the best Engineers, Product Managers and Designers are hiding, what projects they like to work on and understand how to position Catawiki toward them.
• Be able to work autonomously on a wide variety of roles from graduate to director and VP level. 
• You are pragmatic, form strong relationships quickly with hiring managers and are delivery driven.
• Be a great communicator in how you coach and advise hiring managers on best in class recruitment practices that deliver great results.
