About the role and team

We are looking for an experienced Trust & Safety Operations Analyst to join our team You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks to the Catawiki platform and our users by detecting and preventing fraud and abuse. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a deep understanding of fraud and abuse prevention, good analytical skills, experience in process creation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

What you’ll do 

  • Monitor and detect potential fraudulent and abusive activity on the platform.
  • Investigate and resolve reports of suspicious or abusive activity.
  • Work with the relevant teams to develop and implement processes to prevent and mitigate safety risks.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and anomalies related to fraud and abuse issues.
  • Communicate fraud and abuse issues to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure that fraud and abuse considerations are integrated into product design and development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in fraud and abuse prevention

Who you are 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Trust and Safety, Fraud Prevention, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of fraud and abuse prevention
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite
  • Experience in process creation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Resilient and able to handle high-pressure situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the online auction or e-commerce industry
  • Experience with SQL is a plus

Where you’ll be 

This role is based in our Amsterdam office, in the Netherlands. This role will report to the Trust Operations manager.

Our offices and new way of working

In locations where we have physical offices, most employees enjoy two days at the office to connect and collaborate with each other.

Our experts and sales staff in local markets work 100% remotely – in most cases from home. Some key positions are hired remotely, while we also offer relocation services for colleagues needing to be closer to the office.
