As Expert, you will drive the visibility and sales of Dutch and Belgian Modern & Contemporary artists with strong international demand. By working directly with galleries, collectors, and dealers, you will secure high-quality consignments and present them to a global audience of buyers. Your role is pivotal in positioning Catawiki as the go-to platform for acquiring works by the region’s most relevant artists.
Curate auctions featuring the most market-relevant Dutch and Belgian artists
Build lasting relationships with galleries, collectors, and dealers to source top consignments
Ensure artworks meet standards of quality, authenticity, and market demand
Guide sellers in optimizing their submissions for the strongest sales outcomes
Use data and market insights to grow revenue and increase buyer engagement
Partner with sales, marketing, and PR to maximize visibility of your auctions
Solid expertise in Modern & Contemporary Art, especially Dutch and Belgian markets
Strong network in galleries, collections, and the secondary market
Commercial mindset with proven success in growing sales or markets
Analytical ability to act on performance data and market signals
Fluency in Dutch and English; French/Flemish is a plus
Prior experience in auctions, online marketplaces, or art sales preferred
High-impact role: shape the international visibility of Dutch and Belgian artists
Direct access to a global collector base of millions
Flexibility: work remote or hybrid, based in NL/BE
