Your Mission

As Sports Memorabilia Expert for Football and Motorsports in Italy, you will drive the growth and quality of this category in the Italian market. You combine deep category expertise with a commercial mindset to curate high-performing auctions and strengthen our position with collectors and sellers.

You act as the category owner in your market, shaping supply, identifying opportunities around key sporting moments, and ensuring every lot meets high standards of authenticity, relevance, and commercial performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Curate and validate submitted lots for authenticity, provenance, condition, and commercial potential, ensuring a high-quality and credible auction offering

  • Build competitive, trend-aligned weekly auctions by leveraging knowledge of football seasons, major tournaments, and motorsports calendars

  • Anticipate market opportunities around transfers, championships, record-breaking performances, and anniversaries to maximise demand and results

  • Use data insights on pricing, bidder behaviour, conversion, and demand to continuously improve auction performance

  • Proactively source high-potential supply, identify gaps in the market, and activate your network to secure rare and match-worn or race-used pieces

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to onboard and grow sellers, and to align auctions with key sporting events and commercial opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • Deep expertise in football memorabilia, especially match-worn, match-issued, official and signed jerseys, and solid knowledge of motorsports memorabilia such as F1, MotoGP and race-used equipment

  • Strong understanding of authenticity standards, provenance requirements, collector psychology, and market value drivers

  • Proven commercial experience buying and selling sports memorabilia, ideally within an online marketplace or structured commercial environment

  • An active network across football and motorsports dealers, collectors, clubs, former players, and suppliers in Italy

  • A trader mindset, commercially driven, opportunity-focused, and comfortable working towards revenue and growth targets

  • Data literacy and digital fluency, able to use insights to price lots, spot trends, and optimise auction timing and selection

  • Fluency in Italian and English, with strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback to sellers

How We Work

  • Operate with a balance of independence and structure, taking ownership within clear commercial goals

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment

  • Engage proactively with the market through events, fairs, and collector communities

  • Communicate professionally and diplomatically when managing seller relationships or resolving disputes
