Your Mission

As Junior Finance Business Partner, you build a strong FP&A foundation while developing into a fully-fledged Finance Business Partner. You support different business domains, strengthen financial planning and analysis capabilities, and gradually take ownership of a dedicated area. You do more than produce reports. You help drive decisions, improve performance, and partner with stakeholders to shape outcomes in a fast-growing marketplace environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles across different business areas
  • Deliver variance analysis, performance tracking and financial modelling, including cost and FTE modelling
  • Prepare business cases, investment evaluations and board and leadership reporting materials
  • Contribute to company-wide FP&A processes, including forecasting, annual planning and performance reviews
  • Improve reporting dashboards, financial transparency and forecasting accuracy
  • Rotate across Commercial Finance domains to build broad business understanding and strategic context
  • Take ownership of a specific domain over time, owning its budget and forecast while challenging assumptions and highlighting risks and opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in FP&A, controlling, consulting, analytics or a similar analytical role
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and confidence working with large datasets
  • Experience with Python or SQL, or a strong interest in developing these skills
  • Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a strong interest in data, automation and continuous learning

Where You’ll Be

This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam. You will work from our Amsterdam HQ a minimum of 2 days per week.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
