Market Growth Analyst

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 110,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

Your Mission

As Marketing Analyst, you act as the analytical backbone of our market strategy across European markets. You identify where growth will come from, why it happens, and how marketing investment should be allocated to capture it. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing and Insights, you turn market data into clear recommendations that shape prioritisation, budget allocation, and growth plans.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse market performance across traffic, conversion, LTV, CPA and GMV to identify drivers of growth and decline
  • Identify market opportunities using demand and supply signals, category strengths, cultural trends and buyer behaviour
  • Size market opportunities and support market prioritisation using TAM and SAM thinking
  • Recommend and optimise budget allocation across markets based on ROI, opportunity and predicted impact
  • Design and evaluate geo-based experiments, including splits, holdouts and lift studies, and translate results into clear actions
  • Develop and refine market-level measurement frameworks and attribution approaches in collaboration with Data and Insights
  • Provide market insights that inform GEO strategies, targets, planning cycles and cross-functional decision making

What You’ll Bring

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics or market intelligence, working with large datasets to generate actionable insights
  • Hands-on experience with incrementality testing, attribution logic and performance diagnostics, including test design and metric definition
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
  • Ability to work with data teams on models and pipelines, Python or R is a plus
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on analyses that drive decisions and improve LTV and CPA efficiency
  • Clear communication skills and confidence partnering with marketing, category, finance and data stakeholders
  • Structured and pragmatic approach, with experience in marketplaces, e-commerce or multi-country environments as a plus
