Partnership Specialist - Category Marketing

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

About the role

As a Partnership Specialist, you’ll play a key role in growing Catawiki’s partner ecosystem and turning partnerships into measurable business impact. You’ll nurture strong relationships with existing partners, identify new opportunities to deliver impactful partnerships campaigns that can help us reach more passionate buyers and sellers across our categories.

You’ll combine relationship-building skills with commercial ownership, a data-driven mindset, strong execution skills and a sense of innovation. From first outreach to campaign execution and launch, you’ll make sure every partnership is thoughtfully planned, carefully coordinated and set up to deliver measurable results.

  • Partner closely with category teams: Work hand in hand with category teams to identify where partnerships can support category growth, whether by unlocking the right supply opportunities or reaching relevant demand audiences.
  • Build and nurture partner relationships: Own relationships with existing partners, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring clear alignment on shared goals, expectations and timelines.
  • Find new partnership opportunities: Proactively explore new types of partners, collaboration formats and partnership models that could help Catawiki reach relevant audiences and unlock growth.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table: Monitor market trends, cultural moments, category developments and competitor activity to identify innovative partnership ideas and test new approaches.
  • Own the process from outreach to launch: Lead partnership opportunities from the first conversation through to proposal, alignment, execution and launch. You’ll coordinate next steps, keep stakeholders informed and make sure every detail is ready before a partnership goes live.
  • Measure success, optimize and scale : monitor results and translate performance data into clear learnings and recommendations. Use insights to improve partnership strategy, strengthen partner value propositions and scale the initiatives that deliver the strongest impact.

What you’ll bring

  • A natural relationship builder: You build trust easily, manage stakeholders well and create partnerships that deliver value for both sides.
  • You are a strong prospector and executor: confident in identifying and engaging new partners, and able to take partnerships from first outreach through to launch by turning ideas into clear plans and driving them to delivery.
  • Detail-oriented: You understand that successful partnerships depend on careful coordination, from timelines and assets to approvals, launch readiness and follow-up.
  • Commercially minded and data-driven: You can assess opportunities, define success metrics, analyse performance and use insights to improve results.
  • Innovative and curious: You actively look for new partners, fresh formats and creative ideas, using trends and market signals to spot growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative and proactive: You work well with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly and stay organised across multiple projects and conversations.
  • Experienced in a relevant field: You bring experience in partnerships, business development, marketing, account management or a related commercial role, ideally in a fast-paced digital, marketplace or consumer environment.
  • An early AI adopter: You already use AI tools in your daily work to move faster, think broader and improve the quality of your output. You’re eager to learn more, automate, and develop projects through AI.
