We're a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects! Each week we offer over 75,000 unique items in auction, carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us on this exciting journey!
We are seeking a candidate with deep domain expertise in modern watches — from entry-level luxury brands such as TAG Heuer and Longines to high-end timepieces by Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe. Experience with vintage watches is a strong advantage.
In this role, your knowledge and experience will be essential in upholding the high standards of our marketplace. You have a keen understanding of what captivates collectors and watch enthusiasts, and you will apply that insight to evaluate exceptional timepieces, support the growth of the Watches category through strategic sourcing, foster seller excellence, and contribute valuable market insights.
You will assess lot titles, descriptions, and images, providing accurate and realistic valuations based on your in-depth expertise. When a submission does not meet our standards, you will handle rejections professionally and courteously, ensuring clear communication and maintaining trust with sellers.
We are looking for seasoned professionals — such as curators, boutique sales managers, sourcing specialists, watchmakers, or passionate collectors — with a profound understanding of the watch market.
The role is open to candidates based in the Netherlands, Germany, or other countries in Central or Eastern Europe, and offers a remote work arrangement. Candidates based in the Netherlands are expected to work from the office 1–2 days per week, while those located outside of the Netherlands can work 100% remotely.
Please note that benefits can vary by location. For specific information regarding what’s available in your country, please consult your recruiter.
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. That said, some roles may be an exception: if the job description states that the position is fully remote or 100% office-based, that arrangement will apply instead.
Apply directly with an English CV and cover letter by submitting your information at the bottom of this page. By submitting your application you agree to Catawiki’s Applicant Privacy Policy.
If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

We’re continually incorporating hybrid elements, while employees choose how they split their work between the office and home.

We strive to be an employer where your impact is meaningful, visible and rewarded.
