Senior Product Manager - Seller Excellence

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

Your Mission

As Senior Product Manager - Seller Excellence, you will shape how sellers succeed on Catawiki by improving the end-to-end seller experience, from submission to ongoing performance on the platform. Your mission is to make it easier for sellers to operate effectively, unlock more value from Catawiki, and contribute to a stronger, healthier marketplace. This role sits at the intersection of seller experience, commercial impact, and operational excellence, with a clear focus on outcomes that matter for both sellers and the business.

A key part of your scope will be identifying how AI can meaningfully improve the seller journey and the way internal teams support sellers. You will help define and deliver AI-powered experiences for sellers and internal experts, while also building product mechanisms that encourage better seller behaviour in areas such as shipping performance, responsiveness, and cost efficiency. Through strong product judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and a sharp focus on measurable impact, you will turn complex marketplace challenges into clear product priorities and scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will own a strategic product area focused on helping sellers perform better on Catawiki and enabling the business to scale seller excellence more effectively. You will work across discovery, strategy, execution, and optimisation, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and commercial stakeholders to identify the right problems to solve and deliver meaningful results.

  • Define and drive the product strategy for seller excellence, focusing on improving how sellers submit, manage, and optimise their performance on the platform.
  • Build AI-powered co-pilot experiences that help sellers identify opportunities, improve submissions, and increase their success on Catawiki.
  • Develop AI-enabled tools for internal experts to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness in seller-related workflows.
  • Design and implement product mechanisms that influence seller behaviour, including incentives and feedback loops related to shipping time, shipping cost, cancellations, and responsiveness.
  • Own the roadmap, prioritisation, and execution for your domain, with clear success criteria and measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams to align around high-impact opportunities and drive delivery at pace.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user insight to evaluate performance, refine product decisions, and continuously improve the seller experience.

What You’ll Bring

You bring strong product fundamentals, sound judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex marketplace environment. You know how to work across multiple stakeholders, connect business needs to product decisions, and focus teams on the work that will create the most impact. You are comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and you communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • 5 to 10 years of product management experience, with senior-level ownership of product direction, prioritisation, and delivery.
  • Experience in marketplaces or platform businesses involving sellers, vendors, or service providers, with a strong B2B mindset.
  • Strong commercial awareness and confidence working across product, operational, and commercial stakeholder groups.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams and influence decisions effectively.
  • Hands-on experience delivering AI-powered product features into production environments.
  • A strong analytical and data-driven approach, with a focus on outcomes, measurable impact, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience working in mid-sized or scaling organisations where stakeholder alignment, clarity, and execution are critical.
