As our Tech Recruiter, you’ll take the lead in hiring top talent across a range of tech roles, with a focus on front-end, back-end, and mobile engineers. Your primary mission will be to scale our Lisbon-based Tech team, playing a key role in building a high-performing hub that supports our ambitious product roadmap and delivers delightful experiences to millions of customers.
You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and the wider People team to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent — without compromising on quality or culture. Our Tech organisation is ~110 strong, spanning Engineering, Data, Product, and UX. While most of our team has historically been based in Amsterdam, we’re now expanding our footprint by establishing two Tech teams in Lisbon. We already have five colleagues on the ground, and your work will be instrumental in growing that number quickly and effectively.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll shape our Lisbon tech hiring strategy, own end-to-end recruitment processes, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience throughout.
This is a fixed-term 5-month position, with possible extension depending on performance and business needs.
We’re a collaborative, international team of 10 people with a combination of Recruiters, L&D, and Ops Specialists who work closely together on shared goals around hiring and retaining the right talent. Our team is based across the Netherlands, Portugal, and the UK. We’re big on supporting each other, learning together, and making time to have fun to - whether it’s through team socials, coffee chats, or our quarterly meetups.
This role is based in Lisbon. We work in a Hybrid setup with work from the office two days per week.
Please note that benefits can vary by location. For specific information regarding what’s available in your country, please consult your recruiter.
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire and connect. Most Catawikians are within commuting distance of one of our offices and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work model. This means that you will be in the office 2 out of 5 days (40% of your working time) to collaborate and connect with your colleagues. That said, some roles may be an exception: if the job description states that the position is fully remote or 100% office-based, that arrangement will apply instead.
Apply directly with an English CV and cover letter by submitting your information at the bottom of this page. By submitting your application you agree to Catawiki’s Applicant Privacy Policy.
If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
We’re continually incorporating hybrid elements, while employees choose how they split their work between the office and home.
We strive to be an employer where your impact is meaningful, visible and rewarded.
