As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Catawiki’s growth across Japan. You’ll focus on developing long-term strategic relationships with top sellers, bringing the best of the Japanese watch world to a global audience.

This role combines relationship management, commercial acumen, and data-driven strategy to maximize seller performance, profitability, and satisfaction.

  • Commercial & Analytical Excellence

Use data to track and forecast key performance metrics. Manage financial KPIs and long-term growth forecasts to align with Catawiki’s goals. Analyze category performance and seller behavior to uncover new business opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

Work closely with the local Japanese Business Developer, as well as category experts and operations teams to improve seller experience and territory growth. Share insights and best practices across the Sales team. Communicate strategies clearly to align internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Sales Drive & Strategic Mindset

Proven track record in key account management ideally within the luxury or watch industry. Strong ability to build trust and influence decision-makers in high-value, complex partnerships. Entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to reach ambitious targets.

  • Analytical & Commercial Acumen

Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform strategy and decision-making. Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot, as well as Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, etc.). Organized, self-sufficient, and data-driven in your approach.

  • Communication & Collaboration

Excellent communicator in Japanese and English, capable of engaging internal and external stakeholders with clarity and impact. You are confident in handling objections and negotiations, and experienced in collaborating across cross-functional, multicultural environments.

  • Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field is preferred. Minimum of 5+ years in account management, ideally in luxury watches or related sectors.

Where You'll Be:

This is a fully remote position based in Japan, with occasional travel for seller meetings or watch fairs. You’ll be part of our global Luxury Sales team, working closely with peers across Europe and Asia to deliver category success.
